The Mennonite Congregation of Boston meets at the Harvard Epworth United Methodist Church at the listed address, on the campus of Harvard University. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 with fellowship afterward. We DO NOT meet on the last Sunday of each month or during the summer months of July & August. Please refer to the posted schedule for details about each service.

We encourage visitors to join us for worship.

Sunday, July 13^th :

Summer Picnic - We will meet at the home of Erwin and Elfrieda

Hiebert, 40 Payson Road, Belmont MA (617-489-1741). Please

bring your own table service, along with picnic fare and beverages to

share. The Hieberts would welcome help in setting up tables, chairs

and benches beforehand. The picnic begins at 12 noon.

Thursday, July 24^th :

Meal at St. John’s - Our congregation will serve a meal for the homeless at St. John the Evangelist on Beacon Hill. Shirley & Ted Bergey will coordinate the meal. If you are interested in helping with preparation or serving, please contact Shirley or Ted at 781-861-9198 or by email at

Sunday, July 27^th :

The 11^th Annual “Mennoschmooze” - at the home of David

Swartz and Lisa Fitzgerald, 10 Magnolia Ave., Newton MA (617-

244-2339). Conversation and good food are promised, but both

must be provided by the attendees. Please bring a potluck dish to

share, and table service. Beverages will be provided.

The Schmooze begins at 6:30pm.

Sunday, August 10^th :

Sunday Afternoon Swan Song in Maine - We will gather at the

home of Greg Hellyer and Max Linhardt, 24 Black Swan Drive,

South Berwick, Maine (207-384-5140) for an afternoon of

conversation and good food. Please bring a potluck meal and

beverages to share. The gathering will start at 12:30pm.

Sunday, August 24^th :

Annual Ice Cream Social - We will meet at the home of John and

Judy Styer, 151 Maple Street, Framingham MA (508-879-9765).

Bring ice cream (homemade or otherwise) and toppings to share.

Beverages will be provided. The social begins at 6pm.

NOTES: If you need directions to any of our meeting places, please
